Summery First Day of Fall

It will be another hot afternoon across the river region. A broad area of surface high pressure will continue to keep us mostly rain free for the next few days, so an afternoon shower to help cool us off will remain unlikely. Temperatures this afternoon will be approaching or reaching the mid 90s. We will cool off into the lower 70s under mostly clear skies tonight. Tomorrow, temps will once again reach the low to mid 90s across the river region, with slim rain chances. Friday night will be a little warm, but otherwise a nice evening if you plan to be outdoors. Friday night low temperatures should fall into the low 70s.

Rain chances get slightly better for Saturday and Sunday, with isolated showers possible in the afternoon. Afternoon highs will still be in the low to mid 90s, however.  We may see a bit of a cool-down during the middle of next week, when rain chances ramp up a bit more as an upper level disturbance moves our way. Otherwise, looks like temps will remain above normal for the time being.
