Troy’s Enzor Road Project Nearly Complete

After nearly a year of construction, Troy’s Enzor Road Project is almost complete.

The 2.5 mile project extends George Wallace Drive and Franklin Drive. There is also room for commercial development near the road. The 8 million dollar project will provide access to one of the last areas in Troy for economic development. Project Engineer Tim Ransdan says the road gives people living in the area an alternate route instead of the busy Highway 231.

“Citizens now won’t have to be on 231 as much to be able to go south of town to the Enterprise area or to the hospital or to the recreational location,” says Ransdan.

The project is expected to be completely done in November.
