MPD Investigate Homicide After Sept. 11 Shooting Victim Dies
The Montgomery Police Department has initiated a homicide investigation following the death this week of 23-year-old Jermaine Hogan of Montgomery, who was shot and wounded Sunday, Sept. 11.
MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 3700 block of Whiting Avenue at about 7 p.m. Sept. 11 after receiving a report that a subject had been shot. There, they located the victim, who was transported to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
The injuries proved fatal, and Hogan was pronounced dead on Tuesday, Sept. 27.
The circumstances surrounding this fatal shooting are under investigation, and no arrests have been made. At this point in the investigation, no additional information is available for release.
