UPDATE: Escaped Coosa Co. Jail Inmate and His Aide Captured in Talledega Co.

The Coosa County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that an inmate escaped from the Coosa County Jail Facility in Rockford, AL on Monday, September 26 has been recaptured. His accomplice has been captured as well

Jon Cameron Vincent, 22, escaped from the facility approximately 5:45 p.m., while assigned as an Inmate Worker to work Kitchen detail at the facility.

Vincent was incarcerated on two (2) counts of Burglary 3 rd , two (2) counts of Theft of Property, Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was currently awaiting Grand Jury Review on October 24 on said charges.

Amanda Leigh Casey, 29, aided Jon Cameron Vincent in his escape. She is currently out on bond on the charges of Theft of Property 2nd and Burglary 3rd . She is also awaiting Grand Jury the week of October 24, 2016 on said charges.
