MPD Investigate Fatal Coliseum Boulevard Crash

The Montgomery Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle crash that resulted in one fatality.

The crash occurred at about 6:25 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, in the 1300 block of Coliseum Boulevard. The crash involved a 2013 Hyundai Sonata and resulted in the death of the driver Kirby Fields, 26, of Montgomery, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The passenger sustained no injuries.

Accident investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash, and no further information is available for release at this time.
