Teen Charged with Capital Murder in Montgomery Murder
The Montgomery Police Department has made an arrest in the Saturday, Sept. 24, shooting death of 19-year-old Zhivago Hines of Montgomery.
MPD detectives charged Kijuan Flowers, 17, of Montgomery with one count of capital murder. Flowers was taken into custody on Oct. 4, by the U.S. Marshals. He was transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility, where he was being held under without bond.
On Saturday, Sept. 24, at about 11 p.m., MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 600 block of Clinton Street after receiving a report of a subject shot. There, they located a gunshot victim, Hines, who was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Hines later was pronounced dead.
No additional information is available for release relative to this ongoing investigation.
