Presidential Race Heats Up
We're less than 5 weeks away from choosing a new U.S. President. So, are the debates helping or hurting the candidates?
Over 83 million tuned in to watch Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. About 37 million watched the vice presidential candidates.
Our political analyst Steve Flowers says he doesn’t think voters will be swayed very much in what happens in the debates.
As for the second presidential debate coming up this weekend, Flowers says you can expect more of the same.
“I don’t think Trump handlers can get him to change. They’ve been trying to get him to change for a year or two now. He’s going to come across as bombastic and very, very in attack. It will be a fun show. It will be the most volatile debate on the stage. If you are going to tune in to one, it will probably be the most interesting,” said Flowers.
