Holtville Teen Arrested for Stabbing Another Teen Following Football Game

17-year-old Michael Lasiter is being charged as an adult on second degree assault charges.
According to Elmore County Sheriff Bill Franklin,  Lassiter stabbed another 17-year-old during a fight following the Holtville / Eclectic football game in Eclectic.

The victim suffered a stab would to his left torso. He was taken to Baptist South Hospital and was listed in serious condition.

Lassiter is a 10th grader at Holtville High School.  The victim, who’s name has not been released, is a former student.

Franklin said the fight and stabbing stemmed from an ongoing argument between the two teens.
