Guidance for Magic City Classic fans

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (bamastatesports.com)– With the 75th annual Magic City Classic upon us next Saturday for a 3 p.m. kickoff, fans will have to be in the know on what they can’t bring to the game.

To help insure public safety and improve stadium access, Legion Field has adopted a clear bag policy similar to what ASU Stadium has enacted.

Officials have released a list of prohibited items upon entry into the game.

This is a list of prohibited items.

Anyone caught with any of these items can be ejected.
– Weapons of any kind
– Umbrellas
– Purses and bags larger than 1-inch by 4 1/2 inches by 6 1/2 inches
– Non-see-through cinch bags
– Diaper bags
– Fanny packs
– Backpacks of any kind
– Briefcases
– Computer bags
– Luggage of any kind
– Seat cushions with compartments
– Camera equipment such as selfie sticks, tripods, video cameras or recorders, cameras with 12-inch lenses or greater, camera cases
– Remote-controlled drones or devices
– Smoking products of any kind, including cigarettes and e-cigarette devices
– Illegal drugs and alcohol
– Outside food or drink
– Fireworks and smoke-producing devices
– Radios of any kind
– Animals that are not certified service animals
– Helium-filled balloons
– Inflated balls
– Frisbees
– Rollerblades, heelies, skateboards or scooters
Kickoff for the annual clash between Alabama A&M and Alabama State is 3 p.m.
