Turning Windy & Much Cooler
Summer-like heat will be sticking around for one more day this week. After morning fog lifts, sunshine kicks in and temps respond with highs near 90 degrees. A cold front heads into the area Thursday evening. Scat’d showers and maybe a few t-storms will be possible as the front moves through the region. It’s not going to be much rain with this system so drought conditions will continue. Much cooler air will be spilling into the area on some gusty northwesterly winds Friday. A much cooler air mass will settle over the area for the weekend. Morning lows will hover in the lower to mid 40s both Saturday and Sunday. A dry and warmer weather pattern will return for early next week.
