UPDATE: Marengo Co. Home Invasion Suspect Arrested

Marengo County authorities tell Alabama News Network that a woman is in critical condition after being shot in an apparent home invasion in Gallion.

Investigator Patrick Champion says the woman’s son found her lying on the floor bleeding when he came home from school Monday afternoon. He says the woman had been shot in the head and her car had been stolen.

Champion says the car was found in Livingston yesterday and authorities now have one person in custody.
