Women of Hope Standing Together Makes Donation To Fight Cancer

A local organization is reaching out to help the Montgomery Cancer Center.

The organization known as Women of Hope Standing Together presented a check for $1,700 to the center today.

A local cancer survivor, Earnestine Hinkle also made a donation of $1,200.

Montgomery City Councilman David Burkette also donated $500.

Hinkle, who started the Women of Hope organization says her main goal is to help other women with cancer get the resources they may need.

Each year, Women of Hope Standing Together hosts fundraisers and donates the proceeds to the Cancer Wellness Foundation.
