Search for Missing Teen Underway in Selma

Selma Police are investigating the disappearance of a Selma teenager and they need your help to find him.

Seventeen year old Derrick Nichols of Selma hasn’t been seen by his family in just about a week.

Nichols is described as a black male, 5-feet 9-inches tall, weighing 160 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.

Cheryl Irby is Nichols’ aunt.

“We are very concerned that Derrick, we call him “Li’l D” he has not contacted my sister, who is Majorie Irby,” she said.

“He has not contacted his mother. He will not answer his phone or anything.”

Irby says the family remains hopeful for his safe return.
