President-elect Donald Trump’s stunning victory in the presidential election has left some democrat-leaning west Alabama voters trying to come to grips with the outcome.

Billionaire businessman Donald J. Trump is on his way to the White House.

Trump won Alabama and its nine electoral votes by winning 63-percent of the vote.

Clinton’s supporters say they’re still dazed by the election results, but willing to accept the outcome.

“It was hard for me to accept at first but I believe in prayer,” said Clinton supporter John Moton.

“I believe God is in charge and I just fell on my knees and asked God to let His will be done and you know, I’m able to accept it, move on and you know. He’s the president or he will be the president once sworn in. We need to work with the president, pray for the president, pray for America and let’s wish for the best for the next four years.”

Trump won 54 of the state’s 67 counties.
