Diamond Hornets’ Black & Gold game set for tonight
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (bamastatesports.com) – After an extensive and productive fall for the Hornets, the Alabama State baseball team will host their annual Fall World Series.
After much thought and consideration, the coaching staff decided to implement a new format from a best of three series to a one game winner takes all.
Holding true to tradition, Alabama State University baseball will host its annual Black & Gold game Wednesday, November 9th at the Wheeler Watkins Baseball Complex at 6:30 p.m.
The two teams were selected in a mock draft by two assistant coaches.
The Black & Gold game is a great opportunity for ASU players to showcase their talents as well as compete in a real game setting to close out team practice in the fall and begin the preparation for the upcoming 2017 season.
Admission is free and open to the public.
