SWAC softball champs Alabama State to hold prospect camp next week
MILLBROOK, Ala. (bamastatesports.com) – Do you think you have the talent to play softball in college?
If so, you won’t want to miss your opportunity to participate in a local prospect camp with college coaches.
The Alabama State softball team will be hosting a College Prospect Camp on Friday, November 18 in Millbrook, Ala at the Mill Creek Softball Complex.
This camp will be for any young athletes who are between seventh and 12th grade.
This camp is coinciding with the Thunderbolts’ five-star tournament being played in the Montgomery during this time.
The college prospect camp and the all-star games will be instructed by and coached by college coaches and college players.
If you’re interested in both the instructional camp and the all-star game, the registration fee will be $150.
If you would like to participate in the camp alone the registration fee is $85 or participate in just the uncommitted all-star game, the registration fee is $85.
Anyone who registers online before November 11th at http://www.sportscampcentral.com/camp/100146178 is guaranteed a camp t-shirt.
The pre-registration and check in will start Friday at 4:00 p.m., with camp beginning at 4:30 p.m. and running until 7:00 p.m.
Registration for the uncommitted all-star game will start at 7:00 p.m. and the games will start at 7:30 p.m. and end at about 9:30 p.m.
The following colleges will be in attendance and help providing instruction are Alabama State University, the University of Montevallo, Faulkner College, Huntingdon College, Wallace Dothan Community College and Alabama Southern Community College.
More college coaches will be added as registration numbers increase, but have been invited to attend and observe the camp and games.
This camp is a great way to get athletes seen by college coaches and allow young athletes to work one-on-one with the college coaches. It gives them the chance to show off their skills and possibly get signed by a great college. There is a limit of 100 athletes for this camp, so if you’re interested sign up today.
