Sunny and Dry Pattern Rolls On

Tonight is the second of 3 consecutive supermoons to close out 2016. Unfortunately a thin veil of upper level clouds is moving into the river region, which may obscure the view of the moon tonight. Later into the evening, we may get some clearing, especially after midnight into the early AM hours. It will be chilly tonight with temperatures falling into the upper 30s to lower 40s.

Tomorrow we will continue the sunny and dry pattern. Afternoon highs will be in the lower 70s. For the next several days, we will be on a bit of a warming trend. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s by Thursday and Friday. These warmer afternoons will be shortlived, however.

A cold front will move through the area on Saturday, which will drop temperatures significantly for Sunday and Monday. Highs for both of those days will only be around 60 degrees. Overnight lows on Sunday night will be in the lower to mid 30s, but some locations may fall into the upper 20s. The front looks like it still will not be able to bring significant rainfall to the river region.
