Lanier High School Placed on Lock Down
MPD responded to a disturbance between neighbors on Marshall Street.
Upon MPD’s arrival, one of the subjects, who has active felony warrants, ran into his residence. MPD is attempting to take him into custody on those warrants.
Lanier High School has been placed on lock down as a precaution.
It will remain on lock down until 2:45, the normal dismissal time. At that time the students will be released. Buses may be delayed a few minutes in delivering children home.
