First Freeze Ahead !

We are going to get one more unseasonably warm day before much colder air invades the deep south. Temps climb into the upper 70s to lower 80s ahead of a cold front Friday afternoon. Some showers will be moving along with the front but we just don’t see much of this reaching us. The frontal boundary makes it east of us Saturday afternoon. This will allow much colder air to spill into the region Saturday night. Morning temps will start out in the lower to mid 30s Sunday morning. A few spots may fall to the freezing mark. We believe most areas will be at or near freezing Monday morning. This will be a cold snap lasting through Tuesday morning. A little milder air returns toward the middle of next week. We could even see a slightly better opportunity for some passing showers area wide Wednesday afternoon. Looking ahead, sunshine and seasonable temps return for the Thanksgiving holiday period.
