Mild and Sunny Weekend Ahead

It will be quite warm and sunny for Black Friday shopping this afternoon. Temps top out in the mid 70s in the river region. Tonight, cooler air moves into the area, and we will see overnight lows anywhere from the upper 30s to lower 40s.

The cool air will remain in place for the weekend, too. Saturday will be Sunny with highs in the Upper 60s. Saturday night will be quite chilly, with overnight lows in the lower to mid 30s. Sunday will again be a day filled with sunshine, but temps only topping out in the upper 60s.

A change to the pattern and significant rain chances come our way Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of an approaching front. We should finally have enough atmospheric moisture to provide plentiful rain for most of those two days, and provide some much needed drought relief. The front moves through late in the day Wednesday, and it will again provide cooler air for the river region. High temperatures for next Thursday and Friday will only be around 60 degrees.
