Dry Sunday, but Finally Some Rain This Week

After a mild and sunny Saturday afternoon, it will turn much cooler after sunset. Temperatures will drop into the upper 40s by about 8pm, and overnight lows will be in the mid 30s.

Sunday will be Sunny and Mild. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 60s to around 70. A shift to the dry pattern comes on Monday. Clouds will build in ahead of a cold front approaching from the west. There is also the chance for rain, especially by the afternoon hours. More significant rain holds off until Tuesday, however.

On Tuesday, the cold front will push further to the east, serving as a trigger point for periods of steady rainfall throughout the day. Rainfall may wind down a bit during the overnight hours, but will pick up again during the day Wednesday.

The front will be slow to move through the area. It will finally push through Wednesday night into early Thursday. There is a slight chance some rain lingers into early Thursday, but most of the day should be dry. Behind the front, temperatures will fall significantly. We may not make it out of the 50s, and only to around 60 degrees on Friday.

A reinforcing shot of cold air comes through next weekend. Afternoon highs are expected to only reach the upper 50s next weekend.
