Clear & Cold Overnight

High pressure slides over the area and provides us with a clear and dry air mass through Friday afternoon. The clear sky along with light winds will set the stage for cold start to your Friday. Patchy frost is possible throughout the area. Abundant sunshine will help send temps into the mid to upper 60s Friday afternoon. Over the weekend, moisture will be on the increase and we have a good chance of rain Sunday. That means Saturday will be the better day weatherwise for any outdoor plans. The chance for showers and t-storms will continue into the first part of next week as well. There’s even the threat of some t-storms Monday into Tuesday. Despite the increased rain activity, the region remains in the drought but the recent rain activity will put a dent in the rainfall deficit.
