Christmas On The Coosa

The city of Wetumpka kicked off its Christmas season with its annual Christmas on the Coosa.

Hundreds of people attended the day long event celebration featured a car show, children’s character breakfast, entertainment and a show case for local talent.
“The great thing about this event is that it brings the community together and everybody plays a part in it,” said Tiffany Robinson, tourism manager.

Locals say its one of the best opportunities to shop local. The evening finished with a ski-in by Santa and a grand fireworks finale.
