Prattville Woman Accused of Murder Has Bond Revoked

lakia-stabbing.jpgA Prattville woman accused of killing her boyfriend last year has had her bond revoked after she was charged with driving under the influence.

Citing court records, the Montgomery Advertiser reports a judge recently ordered that Vegas Amore Contorno’s $250,000 bond be revoked.

The 20-year-old is facing murder charges in the August 2015 stabbing death of 19-year-old Remington Foradori.

After posting bond last year, Contorno was living in Orange Beach when she was accused of driving under the influence in October.

Contorno has been placed in the Autauga Metro Jail. No trial date has been set for the killing.

Contorno’s defense attorneys have argued that Contorno was a victim of domestic violence and acted in self-defense during the incident. Prosecutors say that she was the aggressor.
