A brief warm up !

The cold air is out and we exchange it for a wetter weather pattern over the weekend.   Southerly winds will transport moisture along with warmer air and that sends temps into the mid 70s Saturday afternoon.  A few spots could see a passing shower but nothing heavy Saturday.  A cold front approaches from the west on Sunday.  This boundary will bring in a line of showers/t-storms.  Some of the storms could be strong as they move into our western most counties early Sunday morning.  The line will move southeastward through the day.  Temperatures start out in the 60s but fall behind the front through the day. We go back into a drier weather pattern early next week. Next chance for any rain will hold off until Thursday. A peak into the upcoming holiday weekend looks dry and fairly mild at this point.
