Cool Afternoon and Cold Night Trend Continues

It was a cool Saturday afternoon for central and south Alabama, with highs in the low to mid 50s. Another cold night ahead, with temperatures falling into the lower 30s prior to sunrise Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon will be similar to today, with mid 50s for highs and a mix of sun and clouds. Cold again for Sunday Night, with lows in the lower 30s.

The work week starts off with highs in the mid 50s for Monday, but it looks like we will enter a gradual warming trend going into Tuesday. A bit more mild for Monday night, with lows in the lower 40s. Highs on Tuesday will be back in the lower 60s, with sunny skies expected. The warming trend continues into Wednesday, with highs near 70s. The warmer weather last through the end of the work week, highs will be near 70 for Thursday and Friday as well. Overnight lows will be more mild from Wednesday through Friday, in the mid to upper 40s.

The overall weather pattern will remain dry for this week. A bit more cloud cover is possible on Wednesday and Thursday, but overall looks like we will see plenty of sunshine. At this time, looks like we could see rain again next weekend. Temperatures may be cooler next weekend as well.
