Warm-Up this Week for the River Region!
Thanks to abundant sunshine, many locations warmed into the lower 60s Sunday afternoon. Temps turn cooler again tonight, with overnight lows falling into the lower to mid 30s once again. Warmer weather is expected to start the work week, however. Monday will be sunny with highs in the lower to mid 60s, and it will be a little less cold overnight into early Tuesday. Monday night lows will be in the lower 40s.
Even warmer weather expected on Tuesday. Skies remain mostly sunny, with temps right around the 70 degree mark for the afternoon. Overnight lows will trend warmer through the week, and from Tuesday night through Thursday night, our lows will be in the upper 40s to around 50. Wednesday and Thursday will be warm too, with highs in the low 70s. Looks like a mostly dry weather pattern through the work week. A bit more cloudcover is likely from Friday through the weekend.
There will be slight chances for rain on Friday and Saturday, but the best shot looks to be on Sunday. Cooler weather looks likely next weekend, but there is still a lack of agreement from the models, so for now keeping highs in the upper 50s for Saturday and Sunday, with lows in the lower 40s Saturday and Sunday night.
