Winter Returns Briefly
A cold front is moving southward tonight. We expect a line of showers & t-storms to move along and just ahead of this boundary. Some of the storms could be strong and possibly severe. The main threats will be damaging winds, hail, heavy rain, and lightning. The front departs allowing the sky to clear Thursday. Along with the clear sky, gusty NW winds of 10-20 mph will kick in across the area. Those winds will usher in much colder air and temps will drop into the lower 30s early Friday morning. It’s a brief cold snap as temps rebound nicely into the 70s over the upcoming weekend.
