Video forecast available on our Facebook page! Link: https://www.facebook.com/AlabamaWeatherNetwork/

The weather will remain calm for central and south Alabama Sunday Evening. Skies will continue to be clear at first, then a gradual increase in cloud cover will occur overnight. Temperatures will be a bit warmer than Sunday mornings lows, expect lower 40s across the area Monday morning. Rain will be possible throughout Monday. It looks like the rainfall will be primarily scattered showers, but a few thunderstorms can’t be ruled out. Skies will be mostly cloudy with highs in the lower 70s. Monday night lows will be in the upper 50s. Tuesday will be even warmer. Temperatures will again be pushing near 80 degrees in the afternoon. It looks like the shower activity will dwindle a bit Tuesday, but cloud-cover will still be present.

The chance for rain, including some stronger thunderstorms returns for Wednesday. We will continue to monitor for the possibility of severe weather Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Drier and cooler weather returns on Thursday. A cold front clearing the area results in highs in the mid 60s for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. A chill returns to the air Thursday evening. Friday and Saturday morning lows will be in the upper 30s. Looks like we get a slight warmup and a chance for rain returning next Sunday and Monday.
