Sunshine Coming Back!
A cold front moves into the area later tonight. Ahead of the boundary a line of showers and t-storms. The line will be in a weakening state but a few strong storms will be possible. The main threats will be gusty winds, lightning, and heavy rain. This system will depart overnight and we go back into sunshine Wednesday & Thursday. There’s no bitter cold air behind the front but temps will drop into the lower 40s early Thursday morning. The next rain event is setting up for the upcoming weekend. Looks like a few rounds of rain each day. The better chance will come on Sunday. Clouds and rain activity will keep it a bit cooler with highs only in the lower 60s Sunday afternoon.
