MPD Officer Involved in Crash Transferred to Out of State Hospital

The Montgomery Police Department has been advised that Officer Carlos Taylor is being transferred today to a hospital out of state in order to receive specialized treatment.

Officer Taylor was injured in an on-duty traffic crash on February 17, where he sustained life-threatening injuries. Officer Taylor has remained hospitalized since the crash and has shown some signs of improvement. He remains critical, but his condition has stabilized.

MPD appreciates the community’s support for Officer Taylor and asks for continued prayers for the Taylor family through this treatment process.
