Warmer, Showery Through Thursday

Wednesday afternoon will be another warm one. However, its unlikely we see a nice break of sunshine like on Tuesday afternoon. A few passing showers are possible today and tonight. High temps reach the upper 60s Wednesday, and lows will be mild in the upper 50s and low 60s.

More showers are possible throughout Thursday. It will be downright spring-like with highs in the lower 70s. A mostly cloudy to cloudy sky can be expected through the day. More widespread rain will overspread the area on Thursday night ahead of the next cold front. Widespread rain is likely through at least the first half of Friday. While temperatures will likely be in the low to mid 60s Friday morning, they will fall during the afternoon and evening after the cold front pushes through. Friday night lows drop into the 30s.

The weekend and at least the first half of next week looks much like the first week of January. High temperatures will be in the 40s most days, and lows will drop back into the 20s and possibly even the teens some nights. I think it’s safe to say winter isn’t over just yet.
