Mostly Sunny and Dry
We’re off to another pleasant day by January standards. The sky is mostly sunny save for extreme south Alabama, where clouds continue to stream in from the southwest. Expect more of the same through this afternoon, with temperatures warming into the mid-50s. Cold and clear Wednesday night, lows drop to near 30 degrees. Thursday will be a mostly sunny day and a little warmer, with highs reaching the low 60s. Friday looks warmer still, with afternoon temps in the mid 60s.
Rain is back in the forecast on Saturday and Sunday. Scattered showers are expected through the day, but it doesn’t look like a total washout for any one location. By the start of next week, weather conditions will be similar to the second half of this week. High temperatures will be in the upper 50s to low 60s, with sunny to partly cloudy skies and lows back in the 30s.
