MLK Statue Unveiling Pushed Back to Winter

Montgomery residents will have to wait a little longer for a statue of Civil Rights leader, Martin Luther King Jr., to be unveiled.
The MLK statue installation date has been pushed back to winter. According to the Montgomery Area Business Committee for the Arts, the new unveiling date is December 1st. The statue was originally slated to be unveiled in August.
The location is still slated to be at Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church.
