New Montgomery School Board Member Appointed

The Montgomery County School Board named a former economic developer and journalist to a vacant seat on the board today.

Larry Lee will occupy the District 2 seat only until the November Election.

The seat came vacant when W. Durden Dean resigned to take an out-of-state job. Dean hadn’t sought re-election.

In the November election, Democrat Clare Weil and Republican Ted Lowry will face each other for District 2. Lowry had defeated Lee in the Republican primary earlier this year.
