Clouds & Rain Through Tuesday
It’s an overcast day across central and south Alabama. Southeast winds should warm us into the mid 60s to low 70s. Scattered showers are possible this afternoon, and persist through this evening and overnight. Temperatures won’t fall much tonight, with lows in the low 60s for most locations.
More widespread rain and even embedded thunderstorms are likely Tuesday thanks to a cold front heading our way. Temperatures warm into the upper 60s to low 70s prior to the arrival of the front, but fall into the 50s by the afternoon. Rain could continue behind the front, but rain ends with a clearing sky by Tuesday night. Temperatures fall into the upper 30s to low 40s early Wednesday morning.
Wednesday may turn out the be the nicest this week, with temperatures warming into the low 60s during the afternoon and sunshine throughout the day. Spotty showers quickly return to the forecast on Thursday, with another round of rain Friday.
We could be dealing with some spotty showers over the weekend. Temps look cooler both days, with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Another round of rain is possible to start next week.
