Body Found Near Cooters Pond in Prattville

Authorities are investigating a body of a man was found near Cooters Pond in Prattville. The body was pulled from the Alabama River in the area of Powder Magazine Park and Cooters pond.

The Elmore County Sheriff’s Office will be the lead agency in this investigation.
