Lowndes County Woman Killed in Crash Near Hayneville

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating a single-vehicle crash where on person died. Jamonica Smith, 24, of Hayneville died when her 2000 Honda Accord left the road and struck a tree.

The crashed occurred on Highway 33 in Lowndes  County near McQueen Road.

Smith was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. She died at the scene.
