From the Troy Newsroom — Pike County Commissioner Charlie Harris has died.
He had represented District 5 for 28 years, starting in 1993.
Those who knew him best describe him as caring deeply about not only those in his district, but everyone in the county.
A cause of death hasn’t been released. Funeral arrangements have yet to be announced.
