Shooting on Rigby Street Leaves One Man Injured/Source: Alabama News Network

Montgomery police is investigating an early morning shooting that left a man injured.

MPD Spokesperson Lt. Jarrett Williams said it happened in the 1600 block of Rigby Street just after 9:00AM.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with a serious gunshot wound.

Police say a person of interest is in custody.

The cause is under investigation.
