Campaign 2022: Dean Odle Brings Gubernatorial Campaign to Alabama State House

Republican gubernatorial candidate Dean Odle took time to bring his campaign to the Alabama State House on the final day of the 2021 legislative session.

Even though he had previously announced his candidacy, he used the event to once again state his intentions to win the governor’s seat next year.

Odle is from Cusseta in Chambers County. He is the founder and pastor of Fire & Grace Church in the Auburn/Opelika area.

He’s running on the slogan, “Keep Alabama Free.”

“I can say this. If I am governor of Alabama, I don’t care what the federal government does or tries to do. I will not allow it to happen in this state. They will not come here and shut down our schools or churches, our businesses, force us to take dangerous experimental vaccines or take our guns. It will not happen on my watch,” he said to supporters.

Odle says the state can no longer afford to elect fake or weak conservatives to lead the state. He says if he’s elected, he will bring leadership to protect Alabamians’ rights.

Odle will face Gov. Kay Ivey in the Republican primary.

The state primaries are May 24, 2022.
