Digital News Content Producer
WAKA Action 8 News is accepting applications for a full-time digital news content producer for CBS affiliate, WAKA CBS 8 and ABC affiliate, WNCF ABC 32, in Montgomery, AL. The successful candidate will have experience writing and producing news content for a website and be able to post news video/photos on the website and our social media platforms from our news crews in the field.
This position requires outstanding writing, grammar and punctuation skills. The person must be able to monitor multiple sources for incoming news content and be able to create posts quickly and accurately. Ability to shoot video in the field for digital platforms is a plus. At least one year of writing in a commercial television news operation is preferred.
We operate the most sophisticated television operation in Alabama, with three full-power stations under one roof.
