UPDATE: Montgomery Police Make Arrest in Fatal Shooting

Montgomery police say they have made an arrest in a fatal shooting that happened Thursday night.

Police say they have arrested a juvenile male and charged him with murder in the death of 49-year-old Eddie Wilkerson of Montgomery.

The juvenile is being held in the Montgomery County Youth Facility. His name and age were not released.

At about 9:45 p.m. Thursday, police and fire medics were called to the 4300 block of Longleaf Drive, where they found Wilkerson had been shot. The location is off Old Hayneville Road.
