Police in the Chilton County city of Jemison say they have recovered 20 or more Fed Ex packages that they say appear to have been dumped on the side of a road.
In a Facebook post, they say the packages were found alongside County Road 166.
Police say the packages include shipping addresses on County Roads 166, 48, 51, 164, 42, 29, 43, 936 and North Dakota Road.
Police say they are in the process of contacting officials with Fed Ex so that they can investigate this situation and contact their customers.
As Alabama News Network has reported, packages have previously been found dumped in the woods of Blount County, northeast of Birmingham. As many as 400 packages were found near the town of Hayden.
In that case, authorities say they have questioned a FedEx driver.
