UPDATE: Montgomery Police Release Name of Pedestrian Killed

Montgomery police have now released the name of the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a car.

Police say the accident happened at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say 65-year-old Steven Hendon of Montgomery was hit near the intersection of Norman Bridge Road and Felder Avenue. He was taken to a hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead. The driver wasn’t hurt.

Police have released no other information.
