Body Pulled from Alabama River Near Selma


The Selma-Dallas County Rescue Squad has pulled a body out of the Alabama River near Selma.

A man working near the river spotted the body floating in the water Tuesday morning and alerted authorities.

The body was recovered about a mile south of the Selma City Marina.

Authorities says the body was unrecognizable. It has been sent to forensics to try and determine an identity.
