House fire investigation underway in North Montgomery County
Investigators are trying to figure out what caused a house fire in North Montgomery County Wednesday.
The fire happened just after 9:00 a.m. this morning in the 1600 block of Anderson Road, which is near Highway 231.
North Montgomery County VFD Fire Chief Bruce Christian said no one was at home at the time of the fire. The fire chief believes the structure is a total loss.
Chief Christian said no one was injured.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the incident.
Waugh-Mt. Meigs VFD and Wetumpka Fire assisted the North Montgomery County VFD with battling the blaze.
