90+ Degree Heat Has Returned

Around here it’s going to look and feel a lot like summer over the weekend. We expect mostly sunny skies and temps in the lower 90s Saturday. Scattered showers and a few storms may help knock the heat down a notch or two Sunday but we’re still talking upper 80s for highs. This will be the setup for most of next week as well. Temps will head into the upper 80s to lower 90s at times. Afternoon showers and storms will be possible each day. If you get one at just the right time, temps may only manage mid 80s. Meanwhile, tropical storm Arlene will be making its way southward through the southern Gulf of Mexico. The system will be weakening as it heads towards western Cuba over the weekend. Since the storm is moving away, we expect fairly decent conditions along our gulf coast beaches. Try to keep cool out there and I hope you have an awesome weekend!
