8-year-old child critically injured in Montgomery shooting
Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that critically injured a child.
Officers and fire medics responded just around 2:15 a.m. Friday to the 3400 block of Fountain Lane in response to a person shot.
Once they arrived, they found an 8-year-old male with a life-threatening gunshot wound.
The child was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
No additional information was made available in connection to this ongoing investigation.
