Woman killed in shooting at Montgomery motel identified

Montgomery police have released the name of the woman killed at a Montgomery motel on Labor Day.

The shooting happened around 10:15 a.m. Monday in the 1400 block of Eastern Boulevard. MPD doesn’t disclose the names of businesses, but a crew on the scene identified it as the Motel 6.

Once officers arrived, they found 20-year-old Adrianna Conville with a fatal gunshot wound. Conville was pronounced dead on the scene.

Officers also located an adult male victim with a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

MPD said Monday that a person of interest was taken into custody that day for questioning. Investigators are trying to determine their involvement, if any, in the incident.
